We’re proud to announce that Sven Apel has been elected an ACM Fellow by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for his outstanding achievements in developing theories and methods that empower humans to comprehend, construct, and optimize software systems.

Sven Apel is an expert in human factors in software engineering. In CPEC Project C2, he works on broadening the scope of explications for compositional reasoning at the level of features. In addition, in project E3, he works on computational formalisms and visual systems for inspecting informational resources in efficient and understandable ways.
